By accessing and using the services offered by Harper Can Help Inc., including but not limited to our online mental health assessments, peer support tools, and platform modules (collectively referred to as "the Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you may not access or use the Services.
2. Ownership and Provider
The Services are owned and operated by Harper Can Help Inc., a Canadian corporation based in [Insert Province], Canada. All intellectual property associated with the modules is the sole property of Harper Can Help Inc.
3. Eligibility
The Services are available to users residing in Canada who are 13 years of age or older. Users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent where applicable.

5. Confidentiality and Data Use
All personal data submitted via intake forms or peer support modules will be:
- Used solely for assessment delivery, user engagement, and peer matching
- Stored securely in compliance with PIPEDA and applicable Canadian privacy laws
- May be de-identified and used in aggregate for internal research, service improvement, or reporting purposes

6. User Conduct
You agree not to misuse the Services. Prohibited conduct includes but is not limited to:
- Attempting to impersonate another user
- Misrepresenting personal information
- Using Services in a way that could harm others or the platform
- Attempting to access or tamper with other users' data
7. Peer Support Limitations
Peer Support is voluntary and non-professional in nature. All interactions are intended to be respectful, supportive, and non-judgmental. Harper Can Help Inc. does not monitor peer interactions in real time and is not liable for the content of peer-to-peer communications.
8. Termination of Access
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services if you violate these Terms or if your participation poses a risk to yourself or others.
9. Limitation of Liability
LIMITATION: Harper Can Help Inc. provides the Services "as is" and makes no warranties, express or implied. You agree to use the Services at your own risk. Harper Can Help Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or related to the use of its Services.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Harper Can Help Inc., its directors, officers, employees, and affiliates from any claim or demand (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.
11. Modifications
We reserve the right to change or update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
12. Governing Law

- Communication Preferences (e.g., email, SMS, platform messaging)
- Peer Support Preferences (e.g., anonymous contact, match criteria)
- Assessment Inputs (non-diagnostic responses to self-assessment modules)
- Technical Info (e.g., browser type, device, IP address for performance)
We do not collect government ID numbers, health card information, or financial data unless explicitly required for billing (and only in secure, limited-use systems).
3. Why We Collect This Information
We collect your data for the following purposes:
- To deliver personalized mental health assessments
- To match you with an appropriate peer supporter (if consented)
- To provide secure and preferred communication channels
- To improve our services, perform analytics, and track general usage trends
- To comply with applicable legal and professional obligations
4. How We Store and Protect Your Data
We use industry-standard security protocols and encrypted storage to protect your information. Data is housed in secure, access-controlled environments.

Our Peer Support services are designed to foster a safe, respectful, and non-judgmental space for sharing lived experience.
As a Participant, I Agree To:
- Act Respectfully – I will communicate with kindness, empathy, and without judgment
- Respect Anonymity – I will not pressure others to share personal information or break anonymity
- Maintain Boundaries – I will not attempt to provide clinical advice
- Stay Within Scope – I understand that Peer Support is non-clinical and does not replace therapy
- Report Concerns – I will report any inappropriate behavior or safety concerns
- Be Accountable – I acknowledge that my peer match may opt out at any time

Our platform is designed for non-urgent self-assessment and peer connection only. Peer Supporters are not trained crisis responders and cannot intervene in emergency situations.
